Mary Ann McGowan is a New England native and has been a real estate professional for over 25 years. She graduated cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science Degree and is currently Thomas and Talbot's Sales Director. She is a Member of the Greater Piedmont Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS). She currently serves on the Board of the Community Music School of the Piedmont and is a member of the Middleburg Tennis Club. In the past Mary Ann has served on the board of the Long Lake Hounds in Minnesota, been a member of the Myopia Hunt Club in Boston and the American Association of University Women. Mary Ann joined Thomas and Talbot in 1998. Since 2001 she has been one of the top five agents in the Greater Piedmont Realtors. She resides with her husband on their Irish Mist Farm in Bluemont, where her family enjoys their favorite sport of polo. In 2007, Mary Ann sold the highest priced property ever listed in Hunt Country, historic Llangollen , for $22 million
